Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

London, City of London. Established in the 1730s on Ludgate Hill (next to St. Martin Ludgate) as The London Coffee House (also known as Ashley's London Punch House). Its location meant it served as a place where Old Bailey juries which could not reach a decision could be sequestered for the night. Ben Franklin was known to be a patron and in 1851 philanthropist George Peabody gave a dinner here for those from the United States who were connected with the Great Exhibition being held at Hyde Park. A Greene King pub, Yardbird Pale Ale was my beer of choice.
