Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

London, Mayfair. Built in 1750 it was known for selling punch, especially for the Whig political party meetings and to military gentlemen who resided in the area. It was featured in the documentary film "I'm Going to tell You a Secret", which followed Madonna in 2004 and showed her and her husband Guy Ritchie on a night out at their "local". They purchased the pub in 2008, Ritchie gained ownership in their divorce months later, and he sold it in 2013. Of course there is quite a list of famous visitors to the pub (there were 37 noise complaints made in one year!) including David Beckman, Robert Downey Jr, Leonardo DiCaprio, Justin Timberlake, Jude Law, and Princes William and Harry. The interior has a large area around the bar and many small "cubby holes" for a bit more privacy. And check out the old barrister's wig on display in a small glass case in one wall. A Butcombe pub, Adam Henson's Rare Breed was my beer of choice.
