Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

London, Soho. Established in 1744 as the King's Arms. Rebuilt when Charring Cross Road was constructed and renamed The Cambridge in 1891. From 1976 to 1980 it was an important pub in Soho with many bands wanting to make an impression showedup here, including the Sex Pistols and Siouxsie and the Banshees. There were also several strange occurrences - a girl was decapitated by a lorry after betting she could crawl underneath it before it pulled away, and a St. Martins painter was beaten senseless because he persisted in dressing like Hitler. A beautiful spacious interior with a gold tinned ceiling with another large space upstairs. Located on the northwest corner of Cambridge Circus, it is another great place to have a drink before a show in this part of the West End. A Nicholson's pub, their pale ale was my beer of choice.
