Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Wandsworth. First mentioned in census records in 1644 and bought by Young's in 1836, in 1898 part of the original building was rebuilt. The interior gives a good idea of what a classy pub was meant to look like a hundred years ago. There are three large rooms separated by screens, with lots of etched glass mirrors and dark woodwork everywhere you look, and a red tinned ceiling overhead. All areas are connected by a beautiful three-sided servery with its original counter and back fittings. Several nice beers from Young's to choose from. If you are in Wimbledon it is definitely worth the short trip.
