Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

London, Mayfair (Bruton Street), Dating back to the 1770s, it is one of the oldest pubs in Mayfair. Located on the corner between Hay's Mews and Hill Street just down the road from Berkeley Square, it is thought to be one of the first properties built on Bruton Street whose residents included Lord Berkeley, the Earl of Strathmore, and the Duchess of of York, who gave birth to her majesty Queen Elizabeth in 1926. The current building was rebuilt in 1933. A Tudor-style exterior with stained glass windows, the interior features rustic beams and dark wood paneling, and wooden canopy over the bar. A Greene King pub, Abbott Ale was my beer of choice. A classic pub, a must visit in Mayfair.
